Cold Calling Scam Alert

We have recently had a report of a male working for a home improvements company believed to be from Liverpool knocking on several addresses offering to clean gutters for a small amount. The Company have then told the resident they need some roof work doing which they go ahead and complete, taking approximately 10 minutes. They then charge a large sum of money for little, or no amount of work completed.

We believe these people are scamming residents for home repairs. Please be aware and contact the police if you suspect you are the victim of this type of scam.
