BUS SERVICE CHANGES FOR MAY 2024

Lancaster Services
Service 88 Lancaster – Cockerham – Garstang – Pilling – Knott End LCC Leaflet 7
Service 89 Lancaster – Cockerham – Pilling – Knott End
From 19 May 2024, Lancashire County Council will revise the route and timetable, with a minor route alteration in Garstang to avoid the hump bridge on Moss Lane, along with adjustment to some timings to improve overall service reliability.
Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire Ltd will continue to operate the service on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Service 8 Lancaster – Ryelands – St.Chads
Service 9 Lancaster – Primrose – Bowerham – Newlands
From 26 May 2024, Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire Ltd will operate these services in partnership with Lancashire County Council. There are no changes to the timetable or route.
Fylde Services
Service 76 St.Annes – Lytham – Kirkham – Poulton – Blackpool LCC Leaflet 11
Service 78 St.Annes – Lytham – Kirkham – Great Eccleston
From 20 May 2024, Lancashire County Council will revise the route and timetable, adjusting the route on all Service 76 journeys between Poulton and Blackpool, after 1100 on Monday to Fridays and all day on Saturdays, to operate as a loop through Blackpool Town Centre prior to serving Victoria Hospital on the return journeys. The timings of most journeys will be revised to improve overall service reliability.
Preston Bus Ltd will continue to operate the service on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
West Lancashire Services
Service 311 Ormskirk – Skelmersdale – Wrightington LCC Leaflet 15
Service 312 Ormskirk – Burscough – Skelmersdale – Rainford
From 20 May 2024, Lancashire County Council will revise the timetable, adjusting some Monday to Friday peak journey times to improve service reliability. There will also be a minor route amendment on Service 311 between Skelmersdale and Tanhouse to additionally serve Gillibrands Road.
Preston Bus Ltd continue to operate these services on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Pendle Services
Service 65 Burnley – Padiham – Fence – Nelson LCC Leaflet 3
From 20 May 2024, Lancashire County Council will revise the timetable, adjusting the 0720 Monday to Friday journey between Burnley and Nelson to depart at 0715 and operate 5 minutes earlier throughout.
Preston Bus will continue to operate the service on behalf of Lancashire County Council.
Service 69 General Hospital – Brierfield – Nelson – Carr Hall LCC Leaflet 4
