Remembrance Service and Parade – Sunday 9th November 2025

A Remembrance Service will be held on Sunday 9th November 2025.

The day will begin with a 10.00am service at St Mary’s Church, followed by a walking parade at 10.40am from the church, proceeding along King Street to the War Memorial outside the Old Grammar School.

At 11.00am, a Remembrance Service will take place at the War Memorial, featuring the Last Post and the Roll Call of the Fallen.

Following the service, refreshments will be served in the Methodist Hall.

Please note that a rolling road closure will be in place along Church Lane, King Street, and Station Road (at the roundabout) to ensure a safe and respectful observance of the event. Disruption will be kept to a minimum, and we appreciate the understanding and respect of all road users during this time.
