WPC Thanks Whalley In Bloom

Whalley Parish Council would like to extend our sincere thanks to Whalley In Bloom for their engaging and informative presentation at the Annual Parish Meeting held on 1st May 2025.

This meeting is an important opportunity for parishioners to come together, learn about projects in the village, and share ideas or concerns that the Council and community can collaborate on.

Representatives Val, Louise, and Gaja delivered an excellent talk, sharing the story of Whalley In Bloom, how it is funded, and how those funds are used. They highlighted the areas they maintain, this year's themes and initiatives focused on the environment and sustainability, and past, current and future projects. It was a thoroughly enjoyable presentation from all three speakers. We do hope you'll come again.

One exciting current project is the Best Kept Village Competition—a wonderful opportunity for the entire village to get involved and showcase our community pride.
