(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily all traffic from proceeding over the Public Footpaths

indicated below:-

Public Footpaths FP0306043 Billington and Langho & FP0345024 Whalley, Ribble Valley, from Longworth Road at Point A (SD 7271 – 3597) in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 260 metres to The Sands at Point B (SD 7281 – 3621).

The closure is necessary whilst works are carried out on or near the footpaths.

Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpaths, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the footpaths, will be maintained at all times.

Nothing in the order shall apply to emergency service vehicles or to those undertaking the works

The Order will be operative from the 7th April, 2025, until the 20th April, 2025, or until the works are completed within this period.
