Ribble Valley Energy Saving Week (4th-8th November)
21st of October, 2024
Ribble Valley Borough Council and other organisations are holding the first Ribble Valley Energy Saving Week (4th-8th November) to help local residents reduce their energy bills and tackle climate change.
You are invited to come along to FREE drop-in sessions on Thursday 7th November at Longridge Civic Hall )10am-noon) and/or Clitheroe Market (2pm-4pm) to learn more about the range of grants and support available. This is an ideal opportunity to find out more about the wide range of help and support available to people who want to save money by cutting their household energy bills and help tackle climate change by reducing their carbon footprint. We’re sure you’ll find this useful in your work supporting local residents through the cost-of-living crisis and tackling climate change.
Experts from organisations such as Citizens’ Advice, Electricity North West, Homewise and local eco energy providers will be on hand to answer questions and signpost people to the best way forward for them.
As well as attending, you can help make this event a success by sharing this information with others and spreading the word through your own communications channels so that as many people as possible come along and benefit from the sessions. We’ll be posting to Ribble Valley Borough Council’s Facebook page over the coming weeks so please share the messages. We’ll also be sending you a copy of a press release regarding the Energy Saving Week which will have more details about what’s happening.
Thanks in anticipation for your support and we look forward to seeing you on 7th November.
