Some of you maybe aware from my message last week and from Facebook posts that a male was arrested in Whalley on suspicion of stealing from motor vehicles. Bernard Rawstron has now been charged with 2 breaches of his criminal behaviour orders and a number of thefts from motor vehicles (victims identified in Barrow) and remanded to custody. When the arresting officer asked why he kept coming back to Whalley his reply was I go where the money is as he knows he'll always find a number of vehicles unlocked! I have no doubt that Bernard will once again serve his short sentence and then return to what he knows best, please don't make it easy for him by leaving vehicles, sheds, garages etc insecure.
Take care
