Annual Parish Meeting to be held Thursday 2nd May 2024

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Thursday 2nd May 2024 at 7pm at The Old Grammar School, Station Road, Whalley. 

The Annual Parish Meeting is for all electors of the Parish. It is not a meeting of the Parish Council. Anyone is welcome to attend, however, only registered electors of the Parish may speak during the meeting, who have the right not only to attend, but also speak on any matter of local interest and are encouraged to do so.

The Chairman of the Council will Chair the meeting who will deliver his annual parish report, share end of year financial accounts, welcome Guest Speaker Chris Oliver, Chief Executive, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, to update on the transfer of the Calderstones Whalley Site, followed by an Open Public Forum section.
