Suspicious vehicle

Dear Resident
Please be aware of an incident that occurred in the Whalley area last night a lone female was walking her dog at approx 10pm on Mitton Road when she has noticed a vehicle following her, the driver has slowed down near to her but not spoken to her he has just watched her, feeling uneasy the female has attended a nearby friends address at which point the vehicle has stopped at the top of the friends drive before driving off when the door has been answered.

The vehicle is described as an old style Black VW Polo with a GB sticker on the left hand side of the rear bumper.

Police did attend the location at the time of the report and enquiries are ongoing to try and identify the vehicle.
