BUS SERVICE CHANGES FOR MARCH 2023
LANCASTER SERVICES
Service 1/1A Overton – Heysham – Morecambe – Lancaster – University (Stagecoach Leaflet)
From 27 March 2023 Stagecoach will revise the route and timetable, adjusting times to improve overall service reliability. Also route numbers in the evenings will be standardised from 1 to 1A and all journeys operating to Overton will now run Monday to Friday. The route will be adjusted in Heysham to operate via Combermere Road to improve connections onto the fast direct Service X2 to Lancaster.
Service 40/41 Lancaster – Garstang – Preston (Stagecoach Leaflet)
From 26 March 2023 Stagecoach will revise the timetable, adjusting times to improve overall service reliability. In conjunction with Service 42 there will be increased frequency between Lancaster and Garstang operating up to every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime and up to every 30 minutes on a Sunday.
Service 42 Lancaster – Garstang – Poulton – Blackpool (Stagecoach Leaflet)
From 26 March 2023 Stagecoach will revise the timetable, adjusting times to improve overall service reliability. In partnership with Lancashire County Council, utilising funding from HM Government through the Bus Service Improvement Plan, the Sunday daytime frequency will be enhanced to operate every hour. In conjunction with Services 40/41 there will be increased frequency between Lancaster and Garstang operating up to every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime and up to every 30 minutes on a Sunday.
Service 555 Lancaster – Kendal – Keswick (Stagecoach Leaflet)
From 26 March 2023 Stagecoach in Cumbria will revise the timetable, adjusting and increasing the number of journeys for the summer season.
